Less than 1% sugar and low lactose... how did we do it?!
First, we use real cream which has been specially processed to convert the lactose into normal sugars using a 'lactase enzyme', then, we add Pineapple Vodka & Coconut water bringing the final sugar content to only 0.88% - with no added sugar.
We use Natural Erythritol as the sugar replacement so this Keto Pina Colada has a neutral flavour without the harse aspects of artificial sweetners.
Natural Erythritol does cost more but we love the quality aspects of it and it is preferred by more of the NZ keto community we have consulted with.
The wording on our physical label is 'Low Lactose' with actual lactose levels ranging from below 0.005 to 0.5% - it will be the lowest lactose level in any Dairy Cream Liqueur in NZ.
